this months green assignment is: show your balcony or window sill. 
my window sill has a bit of seventiesfeeling with pilea, a snake plant & some succulents.
i bought the little green giraffe at coos-je.

these patterns & colors caught me eye while we visited the zuiderzeemuseum today

thrifted

 

haven't been to a thriftstore for ages, but today i had to have an egg cup for the easterbreakfast in school tomorrow. 
i did buy an egg cup but i also came home with:
this goosenecklamp that can stand on your desk but can also hang on the wall.
the perfect (handthrown) little pot for the cactus and a planter for the young mint-seedlings.

fort festijn

took the boys up north to visit fort festijn in haarlem

the wonderful location for fort festijn is an old building from the dutch railwayorganisation 

called seinwezen 

a great list of shops like de wereld van jansje, woonmaterie, zilverblauw, femkeido, viamartine, indie-ish, accessorizeyourhome & many more

the caravan from suiker & bloem was serving out food & beverages

and there were some workshops from 101woonideeën like crocheting with roest & haakt

the boys loved the fact that there were trains

i find myself attracted to photo's with a certain kind of stillness

the monday before his birthday he fell on his face

friday he turned 6
yesterday his grandparents & family came with gifts
today he is tired

study, work, my children 
a good friend died
exams
a close friend of my husband got in a coma
and died
last monday T. fell
pretty hard on his nose 
my children need me

i decided to set my priorities straight 
and that's what i did! :)
